How hard is it to get pregnant if you have an eating disorder and ammnoreah?

Well, I had an eating disorder from Grade 9 and am now a freshman in college. I have not had a period after my second year so I guess I'm ammnoreah (but they say), but I was wondering how low are my chances of getting pregnant because I periods? You can even get pregnant without having periods for a long period of time? I'm not going to go out and have unprotected sex or anything, I wondered how difficult it is to get pregnant when you do not get periods for so long. (And yes, I know, I ask for help, I see a therapist and others) Thanks! In addition to seeing a therapist, you should consult a gynecologist every year. It would be a discussion, you should have with your doctor. Amenorrhea can say that not ovulating, I'm not sure. Receive a check, make sure everything is correct. In case of an eating disorder, lack of time would be almost certain that you do not ovulate in this case, you have no chance of becoming pregnant naturally without interference Medical that you never leave this place as contraception.

How do i tell my doctor about eating disorder?

So I have a binge eating disorder and want to see a doctor tomorrow. I do not know wat to say when I came in really scared and unsure, go to the opening. Please help his help, this is the first step. Do you know why you binge eat, perhaps an anxiety problem. Think about what food you suddenly want to drown your problems. This particular step. Ok, take a big deep breath, go in and sit down when he says what the problem is that you say you need help, how you think you have a problem, tell him or her about it. Then ask for information and support groups that you connect with, and all the help they can give you. It would be the worst bit over with, then you can start on the road to recovery. Speaking from experience, and believe me it's worth it. Now doctors not to laugh, so I do not think you should do something to worry about. Only in step, and when he asks what is wrong, tell me you have an eating disorder.

What can I do to help with eating disorder?

Introduction of an eating disorder hospital is out of question. What else I can do? Feel they have no control. Any advice would be appreciated! Seeing a psychologist or a therapist. That sounds like something that might not be able to cope alone. That depends on what suffering is. There are many patient services, and people talking. Talk to a close friend. Do not want it to be worse than it already is. Seek help as soon as possible so that the aid could be. I would suggest a psychiatrist. Just left a treatment center, and actually helped, it was not like I thought it would be.BUT nessicary if there are other things you can do. What helps me most is to see a nutritionist, but before doing so you could see a therapist and get a physical exam in the doctor. Erectile dysfunction can destroy your body. Get help ASAP! Do not wait! I'm not in the hospital, but seeing a therapist, a nutritionist and a psychiatrist. I went to a support group, maybe it will help both SEARCH HELP. Please please please!.

What should you do when you have an eating disorder?

I have repeatedly said that I have an eating disorder. I do not think I do, so I do not intend to get the help you shop. But apart from this, did it happen? Did you stop going to school and go instead to a different location? Would you like to see therapists and other things? Or are you a doctor who tells you to eat? I've never had an eating disorder, but I guess what happened, you see a therapist who can help you have an eating disorder NE and / or assistance when they tried it as a "mental illness" stop go in my opinion. ) Good luck with it if you have an eating disorder, you should consult a nutritionist, you do not see a therapist, no, you crazy or do not think like that about it. There is no shame in it. They can help you plan a diet that is good for you and your lifestyle. If you see a doctor, the information you will most likely be a nutritionist or a specialist. Most dietitians are patient confidentiality, so you will not be published, you must follow a special diet if you have an eating disorder, it can make a negative impact on your health and suppliment is not the way to handle the situation. If you do not want to consult a doctor, research the average weight for your age and length, and an average number of calories consumed. In addition, research what types of foods best for you in your old age with growth and development. my mom took me to my own doctor, diagnosed with anorexia and referred me for treatment. I saw a psychiatrist once a week, through this, what to eat and go over why I do not think I had went to eat. but things are worse, and I tried to commit suicide, so I was taken to hospital where they eat me or you would be fed and cut. I am now, and is close to two psychiatric nurses, I see three times a week. I have to eat a meal with them and keep a food diary. I had to leave school and take leave from my job because I was not physically or mentally stable enough I have 17 and I went to school and work now. I have my life back on track. Hope this helps hundreds. Eating disorders are very serious and deadly. E 'was hell for me and I nearly took many lives. Even now I'm much better, still affects me. I have a weak heart, weak bones, and are sterile. Please help, good luck x.

How do you tell your mom your have a binge eating disorder?

My mom is my best friend, but I can not tell her that I think I can be a binge eating disorder is. What should I do. I think I need help, but I do not know what to say. They will think about how to react, or stupid. She could write her a letter explaining what happened, what has happened in recent months and tell her how you feel. If you give her a letter, face to face, make it a lot easier than telling her! Xo hope I helped to get some information about binge eating disorder, so your mother with some facts to back up what you say about her AE. In this way, they see that you have these symptoms and you do not respond, and that it seriously. Also find out about some treatments for it (therapy, confidence classes, etc.) and discuss it with your mom and go from there.

Should I tell them about my eating disorder?

When I first started modeling, I was very hopeful, and developed an eating disorder. Now, after many therapy sessions, I have become healthy and secure. My old model agency where I began, want me to speak at graduation. They know nothing about my eating disorder, but. Should I tell them I had an eating disorder, and let them know it's true that I should have asked the graduating class? PS I would really like to talk about my eating disorder to ensure that girls (and boys!) Know where to get help if they have ever been in my situation. Would it be so bad if I just up and started talking about my eating disorder without them before? Ever possible model should be aware of the risk of eating disorders. Talk to them first. if u really want to talk about, talk to the leaders and let them kno dislocated. but I would not recommend not to tell them b / c one, it can cause problems and two they are likely to ask to see you give it out b4 vote YES! You can only help a model in the same situation, and now they know how to help or to master in order to find good jobs, thankfully. I would help people in your area know that it exists and that the temptation will be there, but they should just not that ignorance is the worst thing to inform them of what they need to know that there would be a great thing to share! Hopefully after graduation, they would support it - I would ask them in advance. id surprise them.eating diseases is an important issue, but you must understand that the person does not want change.you can not change it, I changed myself that I wanted, I think that you should only surprise during the speeches, and just talk about it and see what happens. w What's the worst that could happen? who shot him? that no longer work with them not just say go for it before Christ can not allow you to realize the speech if you ask permission to talk about it almost gave him the name means that the fashion industry , as the ballet of the industry, primarily to promote eating disorders. How can I help my friend who has an eating disorder?

She does not know that I know. She has not told any of us (their friends). She is one of those people who seem very strong. Since they can not get it I told myself that I should not tell her that I know how it feels, how can I help her? I would appreciate advice from people who either have an eating disorder or have had one because you would understand what they go through more than me. Tell a responsible person. Tell her as a loyal friend and companion you can not sit on our hands to kill himself. I experienced first bulimia since I was in high school and I have to fight with him, now in 28th just one year ago I confessed my husband and told him I really needed help. Secrets Through the years, although I did my best to hide it, I just wish that someone from me would have achieved. You have to ask her and tell her that you go to her, no matter what type of support. Hug her when you tell her you know. She is in much pain now, well, I have no eating disorder, but I suffered from anorexia from my daughter for years. Not to mention the wrong thing to do. I have an excellent source of advice on what to do links. Firstly, let him know you know. Be supportive. If she's not ready to admit it, but not discuss. DO involve their parents. Parents can sometimes see things that friends of their child. I wish I had awakened before losing 20 pounds. We went through a number of psychologists in eating disorders, specializing in late anorexic looking for a doctor (the patient) in order, what they did. I spent a lot of nutritionists. Sometimes when it's time to admit a rehab clinic that specializes in eating disorders is necessary, but it is very expensive. It is only through cognitive behavior therapy, learning your own thoughts about food and self-image they can get better. I bought "Ten Days to Self Esteem" by David D. Burns, and she and I spent together the book. It turns out that all psychologists blamed me for putting them in ice skating and ballet when I was little, because these disciplines to strengthen the position of eating disorder. I had no way of knowing, and not all who do these things end up anorexic, so I do not know if I buy it. My daughter was pretty, healthy society, honor student, so I took it back when he suddenly realized he lost 20 pounds. and his friends began to talk to me about it, not eating at school. It got so bad I was counting calories and measure your food when I was not there. He thought I was fat, though she is underweight. She always wanted to "eat in your room and not the rest of the family. It took an act of Congress to take in the dining room, so let her have her way, was wrong as a parent. How do I tell my dad I have an eating disorder?

My mom found out about my bulimia, but do not understand. She is convinced that I just depressed, but I'm not. I'm not sad, I go with my friends, I will not die. I told her this but she still thinks I am. My father is not about my eating disorder or not. I need my father to support me and help me with this treatment. But I dislike it because he is one, and perhaps not so well known. Talk to your pediatrician, maybe he could talk to the parents for you. Although it is depression, the presumed your mother you still need treatment. couple of suggestions: write a letter or a note saying that simpyly need your support and have difficulty with food? Maybe if you have a meal together and that you are having problems with food in front of you? Participate in a conversation about what you think about food and nutrition, body image / size /? Ask him if he had an experiance with someone who knew / Love suffereing an eating disorder? If you are concerned about their initial reaction, you might want to tell the driver in the car, so you must stay on the road suffereing Tell you and your mother does not help and all you're hoping to find the support you need him. Good luck. Search Site: http://www.somethingfishy.org A section is there to help the family / friends know how to deal with those who have eating disorders. You may want to consider the issue after a conversation with him, what do you think of food. I just want to be honest with him .

What should I expect when referred to a specialist eating disorder unit?

My doctor has said he wants to refer to a unit of help eating disorders. I suffer from bulimia, and I'm tired of serving up to 10 times a day usually. With a history of abuse of laxatives and diet pills. But I'm not underweight and not seem. What should I expect. Want to make a medical examination? In addition I have 16 years and live in the UK. If it is a hospital unit, will have a special diet, weight moniter, and you've talked to a therapist to deal with the emotional part of their disorder. You also get a doctor to take medical examinations in their diet, etc. Yes, in general, for a time "until we know. Maybe some newsgroups. Then, a plan for recovery. Good luck. Of course you may be considered - bulimia takes you to a very high risk of organ failure, the problem of long-term health, osteoporosis, permanent damage to the heart, etc., if you are underweight or not, is the least of our problems - that's what was going on inside your body and claim it is and if you require specialist who is known as cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, etc etc you have to assess what damage has happened and what steps to take on this address, you will be assessed by a psychiatrist or more - a second opinion requested mybe What do you remember that yo obviously very ill, and they are there to help you - the first time he will fight for the rejection, etc. - to To help you maybe additions prescribed antidepressants, etc. - one person does the same, and there will be group therapy, and structured meals and plans, unless you eat your food, they will supplement with Boost Plus, or ensure that the Plus is a 1-2 hours restriction bathroom after meals, snacks and 30 minutes after its really not as bad as many people think it is, try to choose these books: Life without ED and its sequel Farewell, ED me Hello if you need any questions , please send me email add here: and yes, they will take blood tests to check a certain level, they will do an electrocardiogram, and followed with abnormalties

Can anyone help me with my eating disorder?

I have an eating disorder, anorexia, and try to stop and eat like a normal person. It's really hard, but sometimes I'm not sure I can do. Does anyone have tips to help me? What you need is to start eating less, like an apple or another kind of fruit or vegetables. Eat a couple of hours. If you want something to eat good start at a time when you get sick, and make sure to defeat the purpose. One step at a time all I can do. I suggest seeing a specialist. When you start back on track, you can not eat certain foods again that your body gets used again. You will beable to show support for you and if you feel the urge, do not eat you feel you can call and they can advise you and encouagement. Try to start eating healthy foods slowly. I know that it means that if you begin to hate the taste of food. So take your time and eat small bites. Then gradually, eating little more. And do not think the weight of fat or more! I know it's probably the reason for the trouble you are beautiful, no matter what every shot, he said. Try to tell you how beautiful you are every day out loud! Asteem will build your car. 1. Get a gym. Thus, if you feel guilty about overeating can train whenever you want and you will feel better about yourself. 2. Women are more interesting than the curves of their bodies. Ask any man. Just because you have a beautiful female figure does not mean you are overweight. 3. Join or form a group of people with eating disorders and meetings and talk about their feelings. Relationships with others can help heal the doubts and fears. 4. Think of all the people you hurt if something happens to you that the result of being anorexic. You only have one life to live, do not waste it. Many people would give anything to be able to breathe again. I hope one of these help resolve the problem. If they do, hopefully you can find one that will go out to dinner with friends has helped me. also (do not know if you're old enough) a glass of red wine increase appetite and would help me eat. We sat on the patio in a room on a beautiful day and a few snacks for the kids. we would talk about eating Patz, and. This situation has helped me not to think about what I ate or fat because I'm glad a good time with friends were. oh yes and talking about it helped them. Two of them had eating disorders before, and we try to support each other well. small meals often, thats what I said to do.

What do you do once diagnosed with an eating disorder? What steps can you take to help yourself recover?

All personal accounts would be useful too (but you do not have to share if you want) I have an eating disorder, but certainly not ruled out the possbility that I can have one. There are 12-step programs (usually located in front of the w data entry and municipal services) is eating disorder related workshops with local hospitals. You can see a doctor. be evaluated / diagnosis, and so if you have one, you can point the direction in which your community. There are plenty of Americans with eating disorders, so it would not be alone, I assure you, good luck:) Depending on how bad it is, what can Emmit to a hospital for a while until you are sure, or not eat other programs to help the disorders. I would suggest definitaly to talk to a doctor. They can help you see the head in the right direction. Good luck! The doctor who diagnosed it certianly can refer you to a psychiatrist. It may be hard to talk to a stranger about your problems, but they will really help us know how you feel someone close to you. Try to stay away from things that trigger your bad behavior. Do not be afraid to ask for help is an eating disorder, which in turn something ugly, if left untreated. If you think there is a possibility that you have an eating disorder, then you probably do not. Good luck. You can ask some nutritionists nutritionist.there are different types of eating disorders and depends.just all remember that you must take care of your health. Alright. We can not really be able to reply when you recover from a failure, because it depends on what you have or have. http://www.healthyplace.com/Communities/Eating_Disorders/treatment_23.asp there and discover. This may help some. You just get better. Also seeing a doctor or dietitian. Good luck with whatever comes. 1. Educate yourself as much as possible about ED 2 Locate the "mindset" of a person with this ED. How is the weather? What is the original thought pattern of ED and the nature of cognitive behavioral therapy works best for? 3.Research tips and techniques that people have used their thinking to overcome. 4th Make sure you are judged by a psycotherpist specializing in ED. Depending on severtity they will determine if you may need hospital treatment. Good luck friend! The next step would be to provide medical support for eating disorders to seek. Your doctor should be able to help you with this .

How can I help a friend with a eating disorder?

My friend has an eating disorder. Handle. Im afraid that will be sent to hospital. She says no matter what people think twice. She just wants to be skiny. She is thin, but she not only thinks it is. I'm so scared I will not lose. Please help me. I understand your concern and frustration. Unfortunately, the only thing you can do is be there for emotional support. She should go to a doctor for diagnosis and treatment immediately. I know how it can help u but could not for some time. Start by saying a school psychologist. If you can talk and maybe find the reason for it is to do this, then things could be clarified. Eating disorders are very sensitive. Another thing to do if this fails, is to leave a counselor knows his stuff and call parents. Parents must face the problem of it and obtain appropriate help. I suggest you do so as soon as possible, eating disorders can really fcuk your life when you get older the effects last a lifetime. major health problems like heart problems, ulcers and upset hormones and reproductive problems may arise in the future if you can not avoid. its nice to see how busy for a friend or ur. good luck! If you want help, Reely you need to tell someone, even if Wil ruin ur friendship you know it's safe to say that most imporant go to a doctor right away or something before something serious happens, I suggest telling an officer school or a friend. No way. If you really want to betray their trust, I would say to their parents, and only their parents. Just so you know, you can not help someone with an eating disorder, if you want to be helped. To recover, it should be. If I understand correctly, it is because he wants to be thin. You should try to explain to her to throw your hair will probably lead to the death Try to find some photos online, and to show her. Then tell her about the many different types of diets such as macrobiotic, vegetarian, vegan, etc. Tell them that people who are strong in, usually has a perfect look, or sometimes too thin. Then you can find some pictures of skinny people and says she is rigorously in a particular form of diet. Can not afford a doctor. It will only get worse. At this stage, most think that only sick people go to a doctor. Since they can ignore you, or they can also start to avoid you and your friendship may be over. You must show her that you care about her health, and told me that she is a sick man who needs medical help. I hope this helps!.

What is the best way to tell someone you have an eating disorder?

Also, does anyone know of a place of treatment of eating disorders in Kansas, I can not find one. I'm at the point where I know I need help, but be close. First, my sincere congratulations. Struggling with an eating disorder is not an easy task, and talk is even more difficult! The best way to tell someone (eg, parents) should be very simple. First, choose a time of tension, not to speak. Schedule if possible. For example: "Mom, I have something important that needs to talk with you and dad away is important to establish when all can meet and talk Would you like dinner tonight gonna be alright This gives parents (., or any other person who reveals) the possibility of "Get Ready" and feel less "stuck" or caught. Before the time to meet people that you disclose, write a short list of "chops". If doubt or fear, or lose your temper, you just see the maps. It is a great comfort in knowing that you have some "back up" When you're ready to sit down, be sure to give them something to aspire to in advance (for example, "I say this because I trust you, and because I know I will support even though they say it is confusing or fear). When greeting a person (especially in the way you expect to reply) is more likely to respond that way. Then it's time to dive into trying something as: "Thank you for taking the time to know I think you're wondering why I asked to meet with you This is not easy to say, so" .I'm going to dive in.I have an eating disorder. It is called ________ . Some of the symtpoms ___ ______ I have experienced in months, _____, _____ _____,. I say this because I want ________, _______, _______ (perhaps one of the things that "help me find a treatment plant). I know there are a lot of information to record, and you may have many questions I do not want to be overwhelmed right now, but I would like to respond to all questions. After that, let's talk about what to do. "Good luck. You are doing the right thing. Hang in there, ~ M ~ Try to www.edap.org/ you can chat with someone live and they should be able to help you. How can I get help for an eating disorder?

I want someone that I have an eating disorder (bulimia) to tell. Although I know I need help. I want to do this alone because I am afraid to tell anyone who I am. I do not have someone I trust enough to tell, and at this point in my life, I can not take time off work to get help. Is there a support group on the web can I help? I need some answers. (I have dealt with this since I was 15 and I'm 22 now, a psychologist, you will be able to help if you put your job on your personal health, so you think .a much bigger problem than you. Best of Health and happiness. You did not say where you are. So the best thing I can suggest is that you check the local listings of pyschologist, call and ask to see it over the phone if there is a doctor who can help you. If you need help from your eating disorder, then you must make time for them. You have to take responsibility for their own health.

How can I help my boyfriend who suffers from an eating disorder?

Today my girlfriend was back in the hospital. This time, I hope they really focus on what caused his depression and it is his eating disorder. He has been bothered by it because he was younger, and is in therapy, but relapsed. My question is what is it that I can do to help him. No matter what I support him, he tried to tell me to go, he does not deserve me, but I know the man I love is still there. I have no problem dealing with them on their own and are in great need of people to talk if they ever considered my type of situation. My sister suffered from bulimia for a few years ago so I know the basics about ED, but I have never seen this happen in men, and I know that more often than people think, I just need to know how to treat a perspective. I do not want to lose him, I love him more than anything in this world and that he was ill murder me.H Help! His situation is very difficult and I sympathize with you as my sister had a lot of mental problems and was hospitalized for depression can do is be there for him, as he did deceive you will be informed to ensure that you understand the problem going and what you can do to help when he is home. u should also be doing the hospital, he is aware of their eating disorder, if not already done so, and tell them your concerns. take care of it will be difficult, but firm and loving, who has a eating disorder is an obligation and a lifestyle for people who start to lose focus and have trouble realizing when they are out of control. Above all, take care of you, get some help, maybe the plate, just so you have someone to share their feelings. and remember that he is sick and sometimes no matter how hard we try, and how much you love someone who just does not get better before they are ready. As long as you want, do not let you drink and forget to take care of yourself and not feel bad or guilty for doing most of what you can and if it works, as you can get both, or to ensure that the are legally obliged to help, says he is not able to get good decisions about their health. We hope not so much for u and they can work with therapy and love. Good luck to you, my thoughts are with you, stay strong. I would say that the treatment is suitable for you both. How to help a teen who is developing an eating disorder?

This is not just for my project, but also worries me. I need to know how to help a teenager who is developing an eating disorder. So in my case I want to know how to stop development. The previous answers were great for that! Feeding. Why not let the kids enjoy what makes you happy? The food is excellent. L ', encouragement, love and guidance of your healthy lifestyle. Improve low self esteem and help them understand the balance in their lives, can help. Extreme does not work, much food, too little food, excessive exercise, too little exercise, binge purge all results in the inability to create a healthy body and self image. Can you explain what the results are used disorder.what s feed and food benefits at the right time and good food, you have to tell them that if they want to eat something, you have to eat something healthy, like carrots or tomatoes or fish, or beans. This should help. and when they stand up to eat in the middle of the night to get something they have to sleep with you if they are out of bed, you probably know to convince the subject treatments. There eating disorder are many programs that can help to get rid of the disease. How do I send out subliminal messages about my eating disorder?

I want to get help for my eating disorder that I had for three years, but when I did not tell anyone because I would feel shame. How can I send unconscious messages to close friends to see if they get help for me? Take the direct approach. also, not your friends do not even know it.It is not their business. Contact a psychiatrist. The time is now to take responsibility for yourself and get help. The only person responsible for you is you. Stop trying to manipulate other people that are the problem. You have your own savior! The people above me to stop being so hard on yourself. Apparently, they have no experience with an eating disorder if they have not realized how difficult it is to admit you have one for all, even good friends you trust. A message to you all: Do not give advice on something you know nothing about. If you do not know what kind of situation, this girl is, so do not assume you know the right thing to say. You have absolutely no idea how difficult it is for people coming to seek help for their problems is why these things almost never happen. Sorry I can not be of more help. The only thing I can think to do is simply the fact that you eat smaller and more obvious. Or dress in clothes that show the weight they lost as people get busy. I know it's difficult to get help for them and that is why you are looking for someone to help you get professional help. Do not listen to people about me. Obviously not the first clue about eating disorders .

How many calories will I be forced to eat in recovery for an eating disorder?

Seeking help for an eating disorder. I currently consume about 900 calories per day. I'm 5'7 and weighs 95 pounds. hmmm.they probably make sure to eat three large meals and snacks in between. do not care what's in food, they want to weight gain. eat about 1100-1300, and they do not want to strengthen other only make it worse, one step at a time and then try to 1400-1600 Tthey'll try to give mental help for you won t be so obsessed with the number of calories. They want to make sure you eat a balanced diet with a good number of calories. Do not worry, do not get fat (by normal standards, IDK about the rules) All you need is the desire to improve and to be able to eat a meal without focusing on the amount of calories that is. In production, the faster your metabolism drastically, and you have to eat much, much more than 900 calories per day. In my experience (I have had more treatment for my eating disorder), I have a rule with a "normal" food (like eating, what is a normal person, about 2000 calories), a much larger meal started out as my metabolism speeds I put on meal plans have been as high as 4000 calories, but overall it's unlikely that you will put on a diet so high, but it would not be an expectation for you to be unusual to 3000 or more calories to eat. But the situation is different when you are working on an outpatient rather than inpatient teams, and each person food and recovery experience is very different. Your treatment team will expect you to eat at least three normal size meals a day, food from all different food groups require you to fear food, and you can be on a diet plan that is made of dots or exchanges act more like calories. I hope this information has helped, and try not calories, eating and weight, but your mental health and happiness of the view that food and only numbers are the problem on the surface, and it is very important that you resolve the underlying problems and you need to make the change, the more healthy coping mechanisms. If you need advice or if you have any questions, my email laurelle117@yahoo.com Good luck with your recovery!.

What do i say to the Doctor tomorrow about my Eating disorder?

Well, I have 13 years, 123 pounds, male, 5'8 and I'm quite shy. I will use what you have eating disorder, doctors of tomorrow, my friends became worried and told me to go with my family is very scared. I have to tell the doctor how I feel when I eat, so hardly / rarely eat more than 1000 calories. How do I feel in mind, and how I feel physically. Thank you for roadside assistance. Just say what's on your mind. Please itll foods for your health! must tell your doctor everything. You may feel before going to write a list of everything you hear. This will help you remember better. I'm so happy to hear your help. Good luck to you. First tell the doctor who has a eating disorder, just tell you to eat more than 1000 calories per day. Your doctor probably very comfortable, you'll wonder why you think you have an eating disorder and you wonder why you have an eating disorder. (What happens in your life that makes you do) Do not worry, doctors are supposed to make you feel very comfortable even when you are really shy. You just have to trust him. And believe in yourself. Tell yourself. that if your doctor, you will get better, you will have a normal weight and start eating healthy again. And think of how much your family and friends will thank you and your doctor told you that you are healthy. Stay positive! and believe in yourself you can do this! Hope I helped:) Say what you want, but you realize everything they do is send you to a psychologist who says you should eat a normal amount and is expected to do. So they ask you just dumb things about how you feel? Basically you go to get help for eating disorders and how they help to cut calories to tell you to stop, or vomiting, or whatever it is that makes your eating disorder. You should know that if you talk about your feelings, the usual treatments, such as what the cause of eating disorder do. If it's just something weird food, so I would not interfere. It depends on how long you've done. Write a note on what you mean and your feelings. When you give it only for the doctor to read and do not let them. It can be fun, but believe me it is so easy .

What do i say to the Doctor tomorrow about my eating disorder?

Okay, I'm 13 years old, 123 pounds, Male, 5'8 and pretty shy. I suppose I have an eating disorder, doctors tomorrow, my friends cope with fears and told me to go, scared, with my family very much. I explained to the doctor that I feel when I eat, and why I eat hardly / rarely more than 1000 calories. What I feel in my soul and how I feel physically. Thanks for help coming. Suffice it to say "my friends worry that I have an eating disorder and my family is very important for my health. I do not eat over 1000 calories, because of fear." Fill the bottom. So let the doc to ask, guide and answer each question to be honest. It is perhaps the hardest, because hiding an eating disorder or pull, it is common. Please take a second and make sure it is an honest answer. Tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me help me doctor, and do not fear high-fat meal. So help me God Please help me, if not to get his attention, I do not know what will, first of all, I commend you on your decision to seek help for your illness from experience I know that there is a very difficult, scary stuff . Should definitely be proud of yourself for it! Secondly, you are correct. You should do exactly what you mentioned, to explain to the doctor how you feel (physically and emotionally) when you eat and why you restrict food. Starting today, you probably had your first lesson. Hopefully you are there more? If so, it is advisable to keep a food / emotional journal. In this journal, type: Time / Date: Emotions before eating: emotion after dinner: Emotions during dinner: If you do not eat, and then write about your thoughts and feelings of limitation. The journal will help you see patterns in your behavior. It will help you identify your triggers (things that will make you restrict food, to obsess about certain things (ie Food, weight, etc.)). You can take this magazine to the doctor (psychologist) to discuss and write whatever. Also, if you find yourself with something in life to fight like school, friends or family, make a note in the newspaper reminding you to discuss these things with the psychologist. In the beginning of treatment, it is very easy to not know what they say or do not know what is your feelings. A journal is a great way to remember the current stressors / emotions. The psychologist should have your stress / feelings known. ED eating disorder or just a symptom of what's really bothering you. I hope this helps .and my best wishes go to you .

What eating disorder symptoms do doctors look for?

Hi, I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. I know that he suspects I have an eating disorder (I'm 5'8 "and 102 pounds, but the blame on my genetics) and I must know what he will see that during my appointment, I know that he will ask the obvious question: Are you sleeping good food, you're right, how much you exercise, etc., but I do not know what it will look for physical symptoms other than my weight thanks in advance for your help, it is likely your check? ll muscle temperature, blood pressure, mass.eye times.he reaction "probably on your breathing and pulse heard. I know you probably do lecture.but disorder.try not when a meal to get. I have struggled with an eating disorder for 3 years and it gets worse the more you were anorexic. is not the thin capital punishment. 102 pounds to 5'8 "frame sounds too thin. You are looking for ways to cheat the doctor? Answer questions honestly. You're too thin and probably looks terrible, but you see yourself as "fat" Other people see a skeleton. Is it scary that you look like to highlight? Your doctor will help you adjust to reality. They need help, not opportunities to continue to excuse this failure. I'm honestly concerned. He knows already. Sounds like you have an eating disorder and trying to hide it. 5'8 "102 pounds! You are damn serious, you should be able to be healthy 125-130. How about a therapist. Why do not you just be honest with your doctor? It is very clear that you have a problem. You 40 pounds underweight and it is not because of genetics. Besides the obvious walking skeleton before him, he gets out of your skin color, hair, your eyes, your blood work, heart rate, blood pressure, says ect. Please get treatment before it is too late. 50 000 people die every year from an eating disorder. The longer you stop treatment, the more difficult recovery .

How do you think people feel with an eating disorder feel about their disorder?

Out of curiosity. In general, people with eating disorders (bulimia / anorexia) do it because they want to be thin. But then there are some people who are bulimic or anorexic and want to get help, or are on the hunt or help. But help is, I think giving up your suffering and destruction that is the goal. Just wondering? I think they are afraid. And what can happen as a result of the change. I know some people are anorexic, and they are all pretty much afraid of what would happen if they gave the neurotic mentality they have about food, which turns right at the other extreme. They need much support. Well I have an eating disorder, and yes we want to be thin. and it is addictive, because you can control your weight and helps you feel better, but I'm trying to get over me, but it is so difficult. Many people with eating disorders want to defeat it, and others are not ready yet. beat eating disorder basically means to me, eating a balanced diet and exercise, you still want to be thin I have an eating disorder, and not to be skinny. An eating disorder is a way of dealing with other problems in the life of a person, there is a way of dealing with them. The first may seem like an eating disorder is getting thin, because people with eating disorders focus on the weight and calories, but it really is. Now I'm in recovery, but for a long time, I was determined to be starved and I refused to go because he feared what would happen if I let go the way of dealing with them. Yes, I would have said he was afraid of gaining weight, but weight gain would have meant: this would have meant that I gave my eating disorder, I have lived for a long time and is known to me. On the other hand, is easier to talk for fear of gaining weight that explain all the confusing reasons for making it difficult to recover or recover Now, however, is recovering and it is very hard to let go of my eating disorder , but I'm making progress. I hope this answer helped you better understand eating disorders, and if you want more information, visit: http://www.something-fishy.org/.

How hard is it to recover from an eating disorder?

I'll start to see a specialist in eating disorders in the next week and possibly do a partial hospitalization program possibly. Is it hard to recover from anorexia or eating disorders not otherwise specified (EDNOS)? The therapy really help? What really happens in a treatment that helps? They are being forced to eat? To be honest, I never had an eating disorder, but the advice is universal: it is worth doing nothing is difficult. It will be difficult, but if you really want to restore, then. as difficult as it is coming from a scraped knee. Well, an eating disorder is an addiction, an addiction to be skinny. I'm not familiar with the exact treatment, but if you refuse to eat during treatment that will put a feeding tube so that you can gain weight. It really depends on you and how long you have for EDO. It helps to talk to a therapist, but in the end it's really based on your motivation to recover, but I think, from my personal expirience that are difficult to enforce in the treatment you sutounded of others who are going through the same and often the a very good support system. Settings hours program will actually be fun, but because you are close to the people. It depends, again, your own situation. In most cases you are forced to eat everything, and then gradually they will give you more freedom. A design dietition meals I'm going through the same thing. I am in an eating disorder program, and it is very difficult. I have four to weight gain supplements every day to drink and I end up all or most of my food and I have two pages about how I felt at this moment. I have many colleagues support that goes through the same things. I have also been taken to hospital with a feeding tube, because I almost died. Therapy for me has helped, but it really depends on the patient / therapist relationship in my treatment program, we have all different groups, such as body image, diet, yoga, personal care and spirituality. I had anorexia for about a year and it really is an addiction. It is much harder than alcohol dependence or abuse due to an alcoholic does not need alcohol to survive, but people need food to survive. I wake up every morning and try to do it during the day and it is a challenge. If your health and your life back and want to rest and then go for it! I'll just say that it takes hard work and determination, but you can do it. Have faith .

How does eating disorder treatment work?

I'm starting to see an eating disorder specialist next week, and finally a partial hospitalization program can do. How difficult it back from anorexia or eating disorder not otherwise specified (EDNOS) is? Is treatment really help? What actually happens during treatment to help? Do they make you force yourself to eat? When living on an iv set with liquids for intravenous use, there is no such thing as a dining room disorder.GOD, just eat some damn food. Enjoy life as you were. I personally love food and I have suicidal thoughts all the time. Just enjoy the life you have. Yes, it does an eating disorder treatment! I used to be bulimic, but I had to go through treatment.it really helped. But you may be in the right attitude, you know? You need to do to get better. They force you not to eat. They explore why you can not eat, and encourage other ways to handle stress. And um, no, they do not "blame" you. I think the basic idea is to blame the boy at least pretend to be better, so that parents are not shelling out money for their self-inflicted disease For me it is a state of mind. I will never be thin enough, the sugar is always the devil, etc. In order to "cure" to find new cables to your way of thinking about things. Sure, it works. You should prepare yourself that you will develop a lot by going through treatment.
