How to get help with an eating disorder?

I have struggled with bulimia and anorexia for about 3 years now and im so tired of being sick. im in college and I can not afford to go to a doctor or a therapist. I want to know why I do this for myself and how I can improve. and anyone who feels like being a jerk and say "eating disorders arent a" real disease ", do not answer to you does not know what you're talking about. It's not like I like it here. you can not do it yourself. you need a doctor. have your family or someone who cares about you chip in and help with funding. http://www.healthyplace.com/eating-disorders/treatment/getting-help-for-anorexia-and-bulimia/menu - ID-58 / Try to look at the psychological services your college offers. My group had a thing for eating disorders which I think was free, and also had a variety of free advice. If there is anything.try go to a local mental health agency and talked to them about their options. Many therapists operate on a sliding scale, so you can see some for much less than its normal rate, if you are in financial need This site is really great for information on eating disorders and recovery, and has a telephone line to call processing. I'm not sure if it's only the U.S. or where you are, but worth a try, because they would be experts in the treatment of eating disorders. http://www.something-fishy.org/ Hope this helps and feel better soon.
